If you bring the family, you will be happy to know that they have board games for some quick family entertainment while you drink. Twenty- Six Acres Brewing doesn’t make any food of its own, but it is common to find food trucks on site and they have many special events and special deals/beers throughout the month. These two were the most distinct and memorable but the truth is, I liked everything I tasted at Twenty- Six Acres and I can safely say there is a beer to match any mood or taste. I sampled several when I visited and found many great beers, my personal favorites being the Second Rodeo Joe Porter and the Viking Spider Double IPA. Twenty- Six Acres Brewing has about 15 taps of beer flowing at any given time. The service is excellent, the atmosphere is modern and clean, and the place is both dog and kid friendly. The brewery is located in a business park and might seem slightly out of place at first, but once you walk inside, you know you have arrived at a brewery with a customer- focused attitude. I visited Twenty- Six Acres Brewing during a beer tour of the area in support of my blog, Great Beer Now, and I found many things to like. One of these young but innovative places for craft beer is Twenty- Six Acres, a brewery named for the original, 26 acre plot of land on which the city of Concord was founded. Cabarrus County’s beer scene is relatively young but there are a handful of brewing operations, many of which brew beer of great distinction.
